![]() The rooms are not very sound-proof and I was awoken 3 times at 2am by people getting off the elevator and talking loudly as they passed my room. Not a pleasant experience! Having said that, it is clean and the location was good -close to Metro and restaurants. I left without paying it and have called my credit card to deny the charge if they tried to put it through. Imagine my surprise with being presented with a 25 Euro bill at check out for breakfast! The person at the front desk argued vehemently that I owed them the money for the "lovely breakfasts" I had enjoyed, telling me that I had been given wrong information at check in. I was too tired to argue! I clarified TWICE that breakfast, such as it was, was included in the price and was assured, by 2 different people at the front desk, that it was. I was then given a room with 2 beds, not "Double Room Large Bed" and was told with the price I was paying that was what they could give me. ![]() ![]() Despite asking that they reverse it and showing them the paper confirming my reservation with the above explicitly stated, they refused. Booked a "Double Room Large Bed" through Travelocity, in part, because it stated their deposit policy as "NO DEPOSIT REQUIRED, - IF INTERESTED ADVANCED PAYMENT PLEASE SEND A SIGNED FAX AUTHORISING THE CHARGE INTO A CREDIT CARD NUMBER." (Had lots of Euros from a previous trip that I wanted to use!) When I arrived I was told that my credit card, used as a guarantee only, had been charged the moment I booked the room.
